Auto Loans in Willimantic, CT

Before you buy in Willimantic

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

A buyer's checklist

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Bridging the gap

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
