Buying a car in Accomac

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Checks worth doing

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Where we deliver

Plainly: we do not have a location in Accomac. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. Accomac lies about 730 km from central Toronto, well beyond our 80 km delivery area.
