Car Financing in Basic

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Where we deliver

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Basic. With Basic about 1,512 km from Toronto, it is outside the 80 km we cover.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Basic, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you still want to ask about Basic, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
