Car Financing in Edmonds, ID

Before you buy in Edmonds

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

A buyer's checklist

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

A car meanwhile

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
