Buying a car in Hamricks Corner

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Checks worth doing

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Between cars

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
