Buying a car in Harrold

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Before you sign

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

Before your next car arrives

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.
