Buying a car in Jericho

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Buying smart in Ontario

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Where we deliver

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Jericho; we work from Toronto. By straight line Jericho is about 2,741 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Jericho if you like. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
