Shopping for a car in Mapleton

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Buying smart in Ontario

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

A car meanwhile

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
