Car Financing for Matilde

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

What to check before you buy

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

While you shop

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Matilde. About 3,063 km separate our location in Toronto and Matilde, far past our 250 km delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Shopping in Matilde? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you want to check something for Matilde, send a request; a person replies honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
