Car Financing in Oaktree, VA

Shopping for a car in Oaktree

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

What to check before you buy

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

Before your next car arrives

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
