Buying a car in Spring Point

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Buying smart in Ontario

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Before your next car arrives

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
