Car Financing in Windham, IL

Buying a car in Windham

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Between cars

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.
