Car Leasing in Colleton, SC

Shopping for a car in Colleton

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. A lease ties you to years of payments; a monthly rental can stop at the end of any booking, with no buyout. A lease takeover or a new lease takes time to arrange; a monthly rental can cover that time.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

A buyer's checklist

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

While you shop

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
