Certified Pre-Owned: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Drive it like you own it

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

What to check before you buy

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Bridging the gap

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

Honest about distance

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Dixie is outside the area we serve. Dixie lies about 1,202 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Dixie, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Dixie if you like. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
