Buying a car in Dot

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it.

Drive it like you own it

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Before your next car arrives

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

What we cover

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Dot; we work from Toronto. At about 3,209 km from our location in Toronto, Dot is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

For buying in Dot, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Still have a question about Dot? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

When you know your dates

Send a request to rent the model first, or ask us what we can do.
