Shopping for a car in Patrick

If you are looking for a car to buy, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it.

Why rent first

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Questions to ask

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Our area

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Patrick is outside our area. At about 3,348 km from our location in Toronto, Patrick is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Patrick? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Ask us about Patrick in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
