Auto Loans in Patrick

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Questions to ask

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Distance, honestly

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Patrick; we work from Toronto. At roughly 3,340 km from central Toronto in a straight line, Patrick is outside our delivery area.

For buying in Patrick, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Tell us what you need in Patrick, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
