Certified Pre-Owned: what CarmaCars does

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

A test drive that lasts

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Before you sign

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Bridging the gap

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Pendleton is outside the area we serve. Delivery covers about 80 km around Toronto; Pendleton is about 1,043 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Shopping in Pendleton? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you still want to ask about Pendleton, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
