Shopping for a car in Stumpy Point

Certified Pre-Owned in Stumpy Point: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them, but we can still be useful. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

Why rent first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

A buyer's checklist

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Bridging the gap

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
