Trade In for Dogpatch

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Rent it before you buy it

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

What to check before you buy

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Where we deliver
