Trade In in El Vithe, Hidalgo

Shopping for a car in El Vithe

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

A car meanwhile

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
