What is different here

Each new agreement keeps the same simple terms as the first. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and the deposit carries over. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

Common reasons to rent

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Newcomers waiting for their own car rent for a month or two first.

How renting with us works

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Checking your details

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
