Trade In: what CarmaCars does

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Rent it before you buy it

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Questions to ask

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Between cars

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
