Why CarmaCars

Each platform sets its own rules for vehicles. Check them before you book; platform names here only describe the work. A rental keeps you earning while you shop for your own car or wait for a repair. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

What we check

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

What to expect when you book

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
