Trade In for Mapleton

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Before you sign

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Bridging the gap

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
