Cars for Mapleton

If you need a car while yours is off the road in Mapleton, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. Good to know: A car while yours is repaired after a collision, billed to your insurer when your adjuster approves it. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing to send.

Where we are

We are based in Toronto; Mapleton is not somewhere we have a location. With Mapleton about 623 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

What we can do: rent you a car in Toronto for the trip, with the kilometres you need. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. Need something in Mapleton? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

Who rents from us

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

What to expect

After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental when your adjuster approves it. Otherwise the car's own rate applies. Rent by the day or the week while yours is repaired, and stop when it is ready. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

How renting with us works

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
