Trade In in Motion, CA

Trade In: what CarmaCars does

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Rent it before you buy it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

What to check before you buy

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Honest about distance

We are based in Toronto; Motion is not somewhere we have a location. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Motion is roughly 3,533 km away.

For buying in Motion, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Motion if you like. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
