Trade In in Ohm

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Try it for a week first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Before you sign

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Between cars

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Honest about distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Ohm. About 3,568 km separate our location in Toronto and Ohm, far past our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Ohm? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Send a request about Ohm, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
