Buying a car in Pineview

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

A buyer's checklist

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Before your next car arrives

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
