Trade In in Summit, TX

Before you buy in Summit

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours.

Try it for a week first

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Questions to ask

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Between cars

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
