Trade In for Unity

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

A test drive that lasts

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

What to check before you buy

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

A car meanwhile

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Our area

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Unity. About 1,610 km from our location in Toronto, Unity is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Need something in Unity? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
