Honest about Arús

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Arús. About 3,097 km in a straight line separate Arús from central Toronto; our delivery stops at about 80 km.

For Arús itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. If you still want to ask about Arús, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.

Why CarmaCars

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

Rules for renters

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

From your dates to the handover

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
