Worth knowing

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Common reasons to rent

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

The steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What we check

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Ready when you are

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
