Car Rental in Laporte, MN

Your car in Laporte

This page is for Laporte, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The cars below show live prices before tax.

Where we are

Our only location is in Toronto; Laporte is outside the area we serve. With Laporte about 1,265 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If you are flying from Toronto to Laporte, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.

Good fits

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Why this way of renting

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

Before pickup

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Requesting a car

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
