Nutcracker Point: renting made simple

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a car by the month in Nutcracker Point. Why people choose us

A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. One small team handles your request from start to finish. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Who rents from us

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

How booking works

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Driver requirements

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Over to you
