Car Subscription in Retsof, NY

A rental car in Retsof

Car Subscription in Retsof: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. What this means: No subscription contract: rent month to month instead. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and you can stop at the end of any booking. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

A note on distance

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Retsof. We rent from Toronto. The distance is about 152 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 80 km.

If your trip starts in the Toronto area, we can have a car ready for the drive. Because Retsof is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Ask us about Retsof in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

Why this works

One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and the deposit carries over. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Who it is for

Newcomers waiting for their own car rent for a month or two first. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Know the area

Around Retsof you will also find Bows Corners, Greigsville and The Forks.

The nearest airport is Dansville Municipal Airport (DSV), about 32 km away.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Your request, our offer, your keys

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
