Car Inspection: how we help
If your car needs an inspection, send a request: we find a trusted shop for it and keep you moving with a rental. What this is: A mechanical inspection, for example before you buy a used car, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An inspection before you buy a used car can save you from an expensive surprise.
Who does what
A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
We deliver the rental, or you collect it from us for free. Keep moving with a rental while your car is at the shop, by the day at our usual rates. Collecting it from us in Toronto is free.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
Small things that help
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
Retsof at a glance
The pages for Bows Corners, Greigsville and The Forks cover the areas next door.
Air travellers use Dansville Municipal Airport (DSV), about 32 km from Retsof. Winter tires make a real difference in snow; they are an add-on where the car offers them.
When you know your dates
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
