Reach and distance

CarmaCars is not in Simcoe. Our one location is in Toronto. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Simcoe is roughly 1,733 km away.

Most trips to Simcoe start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. Unsure? Send a request about Simcoe, and we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Good fits

Newcomers waiting for their own car rent for a month or two first. Students, contract workers and people between leases rent month to month.

What to expect

There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. Renting month to month means no long commitment and no buyout at the end. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

From your dates to the handover

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What to bring

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Ready when you are

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
