Car Rental in Carleton, NS

Car Rental in Carleton, explained

Car Rental in Carleton: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You choose the car online, send a request without paying, and a person sends you the full price.

Our reach

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Carleton is outside our area. With Carleton about 1,079 km from Toronto, it is outside the 80 km we cover.

Back from Carleton and landing at Toronto Pearson? We can meet you there with a car. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Still have a question about Carleton? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

Why rent with us in Carleton

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

How to book

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Rules for renters

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
