Ester: renting made simple

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Ester. In short: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car lists the kilometres included each day.

Before you plan

Visiting Toronto from Ester? We can meet you with a car when you arrive. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. If you are unsure whether we can help with Ester, ask; we answer plainly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

What is different here

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. One small team handles your request from start to finish. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Good fits

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Requesting a car

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

What we ask of drivers

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

When you know your dates

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
