Getting a car in Foxfire

If you need a rental car in Foxfire, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The deposit is never taken at booking, only shortly before pickup.

Our reach

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Foxfire is outside the area we serve. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Foxfire is about 724 km away.

Coming from the Toronto area? You can start the trip to Foxfire in a car rented from us. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. If you are unsure whether we can help with Foxfire, ask; we answer plainly. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

The details that matter

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

Who it is for

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

How booking works

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Renting: the basics

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
