Car Rental in Hazel: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. In short: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car lists the kilometres included each day.

Our area and Hazel

Starting out from Toronto? Book the car here and take it on the trip. A trip from Ontario to Hazel needs our written consent before you leave. Send a request about Hazel, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

What you get

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

Who rents from us

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

About Hazel

The pages for Dante, John and Gravel Lick cover the areas next door. Hazel is close to Hazel Mountain Lookout Tower.

The nearest airport is Lonesome Pine Airport (LNP), about 25 km away.

From your dates to the handover

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

One more step

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
