Car Rental in Indio, explained

If you need a rental car in Indio, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. There is no instant booking: every request is read by a person.

Our area

Our only location is in Toronto; Indio is outside the area we serve. The straight-line distance from central Toronto to Indio is about 3,350 km, and we deliver within about 80 km.

Most trips to Indio start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. Who rents this way

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

The details that matter

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

Driver requirements

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

From your dates to the handover

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
