Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Date, SD

Your car in Date

Searching for Luup alternative in Date? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. Good to know: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. Each car page shows what is included, what is extra and the deposit.

Where we work

Back from Date and landing at Toronto Pearson? We can meet you there with a car. A trip from Ontario to Date needs our written consent before you leave. Send a request with what you need in Date, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.

Who rents this way

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Why a rental from us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You can rent again later with the same account and details. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

Know the area

Around Date you will also find Strool, Prairie City and Sorum.

Licence, age and card

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

From request to keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
