Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Devon, AB

Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Devon

This page is for Devon, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. One thing to know: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. Every car on the site shows its own rates, deposit and kilometres included.

A note on distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Devon. From our location in Toronto, Devon is about 2,719 km away in a straight line; we deliver within about 250 km.

Our cars stay around Toronto, so for Devon we can only help with the Toronto part of your travel. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Still have a question about Devon? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Flying? Edmonton International Airport is the nearest airport, about 12 km from Devon.

Who rents from us

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

What you get

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price.

Before pickup

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Booking in plain terms

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Next step

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
