Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Gresham, OR

About renting in Gresham

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Gresham. What this means: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. Each car page shows what is included, what is extra and the deposit.

Reach and distance

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Gresham is outside the area we serve. Gresham is about 3,380 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

If your trip to Gresham starts in Toronto, a car from us can cover the Toronto part of it. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Send a request about Gresham, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

The details that matter

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You can rent again later with the same account and details. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

Good fits

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Before you rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

What to expect when you book

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
