Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Junius, explained

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Junius. In short: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. A person confirms every booking before anything is charged.

Why people choose us

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Who it is for

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What to expect when you book

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What we need from you

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
