Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Mapleton, IA

Mapleton: renting made simple

This page is for Mapleton, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. What this means: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. Rent by the day, the week, or up to 365 days in one booking.

What you get

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. One small team handles your request from start to finish. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

Who rents this way

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

What we need from you

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

From request to keys

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
