Car Rental for New Drivers in Java, SD

Cars for Java

Car Rental for New Drivers in Java: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. What this means: New drivers with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Drivers 18 and older; drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day. The cars below are our own listings, each with photos of that car.

CarmaCars and Java

Our only location is in Toronto; Java is outside the area we serve. About 1,639 km in a straight line separate Java from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

For Java itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. If you still want to ask about Java, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.

Typical renters

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

Why this way of renting

Your licence class matters more than your years of driving: Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted. A rental is a good way for a new driver to get highway experience on a trip. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Requirements

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Booking, step by step

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

One more step

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
