What to expect

Common reasons to rent

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

From request to keys

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Driver requirements

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Your move

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
